Rebecca is an only child and Ashley's ex-classmate from his second high-school. The two frequently hung out with their gang of friends and had shared an odd bond together. For one, Rebecca is his friend, drinking buddy and sleeping buddy.
She's is raised in a very religious family, one who constantly ties her down and protects her from 'evil' misdoings and her 'friends' that has been a bad influence on her. Her parents are rather extreme in this and would lock her inside the house; always trying to control her. This only made her rebel more as she grew up. One night, after a massive fight with her control-freak parents, Rebecca packed up her belongings, bought air tickets and fled to Japan; thinking that Ashley (her only friend that is not in Brazil now) might help her settle down and work things out.
