Personality:

He's a cheery person, as long as he gets to cook and share his love for food with everyone. The young male strives perfection in the kitchen. Elsewhere, he's a big slob. He is very passionate in the things he loves, but can show extreme reluctance in things that he dislikes. So, getting him to clean up after himself is quite a task. Because he is very self-critical, he can be rather hard on himself if he thinks he fell short from his own expectations.

History:
Ken's family has been in the culinary field since his great-grandfather first started off as a Teppanyaki chef. Cooking has always been something innate for him and his younger sister though, only he continued to stick to his passion while his sister went into media-based fields. However, instead of sticking to traditions and following his dad in Japanese cuisines, he treaded into different types of Asian-style cookery, and even gaining the love of Western-style dishes from his mother. Fortunately, instead of berating both children for going for something different than initially planned, his parents welcomed it, as long as the two of them were happy with what they did.

Soon, Ken was sent to culinary academy, where he sharpened his skills and landed a job in a restaurant in Kirimori; which he left when Higashimori gave him a better offer, and a kitchen to himself.
