★Personality:

Mi is a timid child, preferring to stick to himself rather than join his schoolmates. He's just not used to much conversation, probably since people tend to steer clear from him from his strange red-green heterochromia. He actually likes it when someone approaches him, though his low self-esteem might get in the way of socializing. He's not someone that would voice his own opinion on something, but prefers to take what he's given without any protest. Aka, he needs to grow a spine--- Without much social experience, he is pretty clueless about a lot of common norms, or up and happening things, like Twitter, Facebook, or anime; so he is gullible if people do try to take advantage of him. However, once he can't stand it anymore, he can be prone to violent tantrums and might just sock it to you.

★History:

Growing up in a decent traditional Japanese family, Mi is constantly trying to be worthy enough of a person who can do well in life, wanting to be good at something. He never really showed much potential during his childhood years; having average grades and a normal sports life; though, his teacher noticed that he can hold up in most sports longer than others, having high stamina from various long-distance, endurance exercises he did. After following his teacher's suggestion to try out different types of sporting events, Mi fell in love with swimming. It was utterly blissful to just be in the water and lose yourself in your own thoughts and before he realize, he would have done many laps without stopping. Soon, his parents began opting swimming training for him and despite being mediocre in all the short-distance (50 m, 100 m, 200 m events), he excelled in the long distance events with his ability to outlast his competitors. But, what he still lacked was the ability to sprint, rendering him at a disadvantage at the last few meters of his swims. In the end, he requested to be enrolled in this elite swim school, to help improve himself and to aid him in becoming Japan's top long-distance freestyler.
